Growing up in South Carolina has proven to be a real asset for me in my Real Estate career.  If there were one motto I would quote for the South, it is “We Care About People!”  I always have felt that in the South, people are more important than things, and I have always found that to be part of my soul!

All that being said, moving to California in 1973 was one of the most exciting and rewarding things I have ever done.  After working in banking, finance and marketing, I found my life long dream career in the ever-changing world of Real Estate!  It has been a perfect fit for my enthusiasm and energy.

I am a Realtor who lives in the historic Floral Park neighborhood of North Santa Ana in Orange County, CA.  Director of the Floral Park Home & Garden Tour, which is the last full weekend in April each year, I have been located there since moving to southern California over 20 years ago.  Based in North Santa Ana, I specialize in Floral Park and the surrounding neighborhoods such as Fisher Park, West Floral Park, Park Santiago, Washington Square, Old Town Orange and Tustin.  And selling all of Central Orange County, I have focused these past 20 some years representing buyers and sellers of vintage and architecturally interesting homes. 

Ask me about the neighborhoods I live and work in and the best I can say is “Small Town USA” is found among these vintage & historic homes.  The North Santa Ana neighborhoods tend to be much more cohesive than most neighborhoods in Orange County.  And the areas of vintage homes in Orange, Tustin, Fullerton, etc… each have their own unique qualities.  Homes of character seem to bring people of character and all are welcome as the architecture is as diverse as the people.  English Tudors, Spanish, Cape Cods, Colonials, Mediterranean Villas, Georgians, Victorians, Art Deco and Craftsmans- I love them all! 

I am so excited every time I find “just the perfect home” for my buyers and see the light in their eyes.  Do they love the openness of the kitchen?  The original door knocker with peek-through window?  The bright green grass where they picture their children will play? Being entrusted to be the Realtor of so many wonderful people through the years is an awesome privilege and one I take very seriously!!

I actually became a Realtor because, after having moved a number of times myself, I determined I wanted to be the Realtor I always wanted, and rarely experienced. This business gives me the opportunity to be of service in a very meaningful way and also enjoy the friendship of so many clients.
